We develop machine-learning-enhanced techniques for simulation, data analysis, and control to enable new insights into complex quantum states and dynamics.

FOR 5919 “Machine Learning for Complex Quantum States” is a DFG Research Unit. We develop and employ tools of machine learning to investigate composite quantum systems with a focus on artificial quantum systems.

After a very energetic on-site review, the DFG together with the SNSF has taken the decision to fund our new Research Unit “Machine Learning for Complex Quantum States” (FOR 5919).
